HISTORY

Jim founded Jim Sands Construction in 1975, starting off by laying block foundations and anything to do with concrete work. For the last 20 years we have been dedicated to building some of the Cedar Valleys most high quality houses, with just over 150 houses built.

We love sitting down with our clients and helping them build their dream home. We offer a list of floor plans for you to choose from or you can draw your own. All of our houses come with spray foam insulation, (something other contractors will charge you more for) we also give a large garage, composite decks, optional fireplace, and so much more!

Cedar Falls

We recently purchased 10 acres to build 21 lots in a cul-de-sac. Some of the houses will have walk out basements and you will never have a back yard neighbor. We will be ready to start building early fall 2018, with houses starting at $400,000 and lots starting at $80,000. $1000 reserves your lot until closing.

In 2008 we purchased 30 acres and have completed 2 phases, in 2020 we will be starting construction on the third phase bringing 22 more houses to the small town of Janesville. These houses will be starting at $300,000, same deal applies, $1000 reserves the lot.

SPRAY FOAM INUSULATION

If its not foam, its not worth it!!

Here at Jim Sands Construction our number one priority is making sure our clients get the most out of their dollar, that being said we invested in our own spray foam rig to spray all of our houses with. We spray 3" of closed cell foam in the basements with 5 1/2" on the main floor WITH NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE BUYER, something other builders will charge you around $5,000+ more for.
